winter 2023 activities

This winter we’re hosting three exciting opportunities to stay connected throughout the cold season: Banned Book Club, Winter Community Adventures, and Winter Break Camp: The Creators Tour!

  • Banned Book Club gathers youth and families around a reading-as-resistance practice and exploration of the history of book banning.

  • Winter Community Adventures brings youth, families, and other community members out of hibernation for collective outdoor adventures.

  • Winter Break Camp: The Creators Tour. A three-day adventure exploring art spaces, meeting creators and getting creative.

Learn more about each activity and apply to participate below. Kite’s Nest continues to follow safety procedures in response to the COVID-19 pandemic. We wear masks whenever we’re indoors together, including in vehicles. Please reach out to us at hello@kitesnest.org if you have any questions about our commitment to keeping our community safe.
