RISING UP

Tracing the histories of people's movements for justice. Have you ever believed in something so strongly you're willing to stand up, speak out, or fight for it?

Ages 10 - 15
Mondays 10am - 3pm

EXTRA SAUCE: CUISINE LAB

Eat your experiments. Learn to think like a cook and a scientist. Engaging recipes, precise measurements, and observations about food and the body.

Ages 9 -15
Tuesdays 3pm - 6pm

FIELD NOTES

Outdoor adventure, exploration, observation and recording in the woods, fields and streams of Hudson. 

Ages 8 - 15
Wednesdays 10am - 3pm

SPACE 101

A weekly space by and for Hudson teens, with Claire Cousin: youth-led media, music, conversations and campaigns.

Ages 14 and up
Thursdays 4pm - 7pm, as well as special events and workshops
Free - donations welcome!


FACT OR FICTION?!

A teen film series. Investigating documentary film through screenings and discussion, and expanding the boundaries between fiction and non-fiction.
Ages 15 and up
Film screening at Basilica Hudson: Tuesdays 7pm-8:30pm
Workshop at Kite's Nest: Wednesdays 4pm-7pm

HIDDEN HISTORIES

What do we really know about our past? An inquiry into how history is created, recorded, altered—and erased—for posterity.

Ages 8 - 15
Fridays 10am - 3pm

RIVER CITY GARDEN:
ROOTS & REBELS GARDEN CLUB

Growing food and growing justice. Come get your hands dirty at the River City Garden!

Ages 7 - 14
Fridays 3pm - 6pm at the River City Garden
Beginning May 1st
Free for Hudson residents - donations welcome!



We will also welcome back HATCH, a teaching cooperative of local homeschooling families hosted in the Kite's Nest space on Thursdays from 9:30am - 2:30pm for ages 12 and up. If your child is new to Kite's Nest:

1. Fill out this form, email hello@kitesnest.org, or call 518-945-8445.
2. We'll contact you shortly and plan to meet or speak on the phone to talk, answer your questions, and learn about your child.
3. We'll send you our registration form, to be returned with a deposit before the start of programs.

Sliding-scale program fees are available for families who qualify. No one will be turned away for lack of funds.
