Kite's Nest works in collaboration with a number of local organizations in Columbia County and Hudson, NY. We work with families and children who have long-established relationships with other youth organizations, to build on and support the strengths of existing programs and initiatives in Hudson. We are members of a strong collaborative of local youth organizations who provide programs outside of school, facilitating monthly discussions about our shared missions and resources, called H.O.S.T (Hudson Out of School Time) Collaborative. We are also part of the IPN (Intensive Prevention Network) of Columbia County, working with the Department of Probation and other county agencies (Department of Social Services, Mental Health Association, Berkshire Farms, Northeast Parent & Child Society, etc.) to advocate for youth and families, and to connect youth with meaningful and relevant programs and services. These partnerships and collaborations are central to our work and purpose. We hope to always build on and support the strengths of other local programs, recognizing that we are all more powerful together than alone.
